INTERMEDIATE CLASSES

Intermediate level classes are more challenging for the core and for co-ordination. The aim is for movement to be flowing and dynamic so the body becomes evenly strengthened and toned.

ADVANCED CLASSES

With a faster tempo and flowing transitions, working towards the 36 ‘classic’ original exercises that were designed by Joseph Pilates for execution on the mat. Modifications will be given where necessary. This is a tough workout leaving you feeling strong and energized.

HIGH INTENSITY POWER PILATES

HIP Pilates is a more dynamic form of Pilates that combines the precision and focus of a traditional Pilates session with the dynamic energy of a high intensity workout.
HIP Pilates is an extension of traditional Pilates and is not intended to replace the original method but to complement it and to add a new dimension to your Pilates experience. The main aim is to get off the mat, to use the body more functionally and to get stronger and fitter.
HIP Pilates is taught in a very structured, choreographed format, we squat, we lunge and we plank with lots of creative variation to challenge co-ordination and to improve our physical and mental agility and just like in any traditional Pilates session it’s about how we move, we focus on the precision of movement, correct alignment, controlled movement and good muscle recruitment are essential.
Combining core strength, balance and coordination with an energetic cardiovascular element HIP Pilates is the answer to many people’s search for a functional ‘feel good’ workout.

REFORMER ON THE MAT

The Matwork is unassisted and is considered to be more challenging than the Reformer as it is the body working against gravity. The reformer on the mat is a great way for the more advanced body to get connected into the Powerhouse and challenge the core strength and control. Reformer on the mat adds variety and challenge to the to the workout.
